Job Title: Live in Lifestyle Assistant

Hours: Live in - 7 days on / 7 days off

Start Date: Mid-April 2024

Pay & Benefits:

Pay Rate: £160 - £180 per day / £1,120 - £1,260 per week worked

Free accommodation at the family home.

5.6 weeks’ holiday per year

About Our Client

Our client is looking to recruit a team of Personal Assistants to support her in her 2nd Year at University! She is studying Sports Health & PE.

She has a Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with all aspects of her life - Personal Care, Clinical Care, General Tasks around the accommodation eg. cleaning and cooking and support whilst at University.

She will also need support taking her to and from Basketball training sessions/games etc. There may be different games or training events she will have to attend, so driving is essential.

Our Client is looking for a PA who can enjoy all of the fun things in life but also be understanding of our Clients independence and supporting that where possible.

Prior care experience is not required, all training will be provided but some experience is preferred.

About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided. An ideal applicant requirements are:

-You will need to be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

- Full UK driving licence - essential

-Fluent in the English Language

-Can carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, ironing, washing and Cooking

-Reliable and trustworthy

-Provide 'on call’ cover for absent colleague

-Non-Smoker

-Pet Lover, as the client has a dog

-You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.

-Good organisational skills and being able to work on your own initiative

-Have a good sense of humour

-A mature and responsible attitude

-Excellent hearing and communication skills

-Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.

You will be employed directly by our client who is supported by AskJules.
