Work within an incredibly bright team DevOps and Systems Administration team who you will learn from and grow with, in a role where you will be performing administration of Linux servers and networking hardware (including firewalls and switches; responding to alerts from systems and services; keeping systems up to date with latest security patches and ensuring systems have appropriate and functional backups; liaising with vendors and managing licences; and assisting the Engineering and IT teams in debugging networking issues.

Skills required for this Linux Systems Administrator role:

• Experience administering Linux systems over SSH
• Strong diagnostic and debugging skills
• Knowledge of networking and internet technologies including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience configuring and maintaining networking infrastructure (such as firewalls, switches and VLAN management)
• Experience with scripting languages (particularly Bash and Perl)

The package offered to the Linux Systems Administrator will consist of a salary of up to £45,000 and benefits including a generous holiday allowance, a well-stocked office kitchen with free meals, private healthcare, enhanced parenting leave and more. You will be based from the London office or Manchester office as preferred.
