A Linux Systems Administrator with experience with Ansible and Cloud technologies is required to join a technology company in Oxford. This is a great role, working with a high-availability software platform underpinned by an enterprise-level, virtualised, Linux infrastructure, which is essential to the UK internet!

The Role

The Linux Systems Administrator will be joining a talented team, working on a varied and flexible technical stack. As the Linux Systems Administrator you’ll be responsible for both BAU support as well as extensive project work. It’s a collaborative environment, where the Linux Systems Administrator will need to be comfortable working with different teams and internal customers.

What’s Required?

We’re looking for a Linux Systems Administrator with some (but not all!) of the following: 

• Linux Systems Administration experience, ideally with Red Hat
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform
• Scripting using Perl/PHP/Python/Ruby
• Cloud experience, ideally with AWS or Azure
• Virtualisation experience – preferably VMWare – would be advantageous
• Experience of supporting applications – especially Java – would be highly beneficial
• Networking technologies
