I am working with an established national business to recruit for a Level 1/Junior IT Helpdesk Support role within their busy IT team. This large organisation is highly respected within their field and offers excellent opportunities for personal and professional development for their employees.
Reporting into the IT Helpdesk Supervisor you'll be providing 1st level support for all systems and remote access solutions, escalating issues as appropriate within the IT team. As part of your role you'll diagnose and resolve issues in professional and effective manner communicating with users to establish the issue and when it'll be resolved. You'll be responsible for user administration and the configuration of desktop environments for new starters as well as ensuring data and information protection is strictly adhered to by users and the IT team.
This role would suit an individual who has prior experience in providing Level 1 support in an IT function or graduate with a keen interest to develop their career in IT. You'll have previous experience in providing great customer service and be confident in liaising with members of staff at all levels of seniority. You'll have excellent communication skills with the ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively. Additionally, you'll have a good understanding of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office.
