Job description - Lettings Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our knowledgeable and local Lettings team in Oakham. We have a very unique offering to our Landlords in both how we manage property, and our knowledge as a business. We are an independent market town ( Stamford, Oakham, Oundle & Melton) property specialist that have knowledgeable, friendly teams - which is the backbone of our culture. Being a small, friendly and entrepreneurial property company - you will be expected to tie in and work with the other members of the larger Groupe.

Due to the expansion of our offices we are looking for an entrepreneurial, motivated individual to drive our Lettings business forward in Oakham & Melton.

The role will be targeted on multiple elements - with an emphasis on the quality and calibre of the new business being brought into the Company. Day to day duties would include:

  • Growing our local market share by building relationships with potential landlords
  • Becoming efficient on all software platforms
  • Educating clients about the benefit of using Osprey and helping guide them through the process of being a Landlord
  • Utilising our database to build a pipeline of future business
  • Building and maintaining a fantastic working relationship with our Asset managers
  • Carrying out Viewings
  • Conducting Market Valuations and providing sound, knowledgeable advice to prospective clients
  • Attracting new Landlords
  • Mitigating the risk for our Landlords
  • Continually making our brand visible locally and further afield
  • Taking tenants through the referencing process
  • Re-let administration and marketing
  • Efficient handover of the file to the property manager on move in

Being a small entrepreneurial property management company, you will be expected to tie in and work with the other members of the letting and sales teams in Oakham, Stamford, Melton Mowbray & Oundle.

A Full UK driving licence holder is essential for this role. The role is Monday - Friday with every other Saturday ( reduced hours on Saturday)

Basic Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year with OTE between £30,000 - £40,000
