The Lettings Manager role based in Harrow is with a specialist Property Management firm on a permanent full time basis (37.5 hours per week PLUS the option for paid overtime!)

PLEASE NOTE… THIS ROLE IS NOT TARGET FOCUSSED! you will not be heavily targeted on new business, we are searching for a natural people person with a consultative approach who will nurture existing business.

My client is a Property Management business with a twist. Steeped in history they have been around for over 50 years and to this day stand out for their pioneering approach in the industry. Based in Harrow we are working on their behalf to find a Lettings Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

This company are known for their outstanding personal service and their unique approach to the industry. They are a tight team who are so proud of their collective achievements ready and eager to welcome a new person into the fold!

The key responsibilities for the Lettings Manager will be as follows:

Conducting Market appraisals and negotiating fees

Developing relationships with existing and new landlords

Calling and meeting with landlords (Tenants if necessary)

Assisting in the efficient progression of agreed deals

Responding to telephone and website leads

Working with accounts to facilitate rent relief or support them chasing outstanding rent

Working closely with all departments - accounts, renewals and property management

Serving Section 21s

Liaising with Solicitors for advice

Leading the weekly office meeting

Overseeing the negotiators

The successful candidate will have the following skill set:

2 or more years experience as a Senior Lettings Negotiator

We would expect ARLA qualified Level 2 at least or equivalent (opportunities to be more qualified will be encouraged)

Must be Car owner Driver

Someone bright with a good understanding of what GREAT service is

Someone flexible who can slot nicely into existing team

Understanding of current lettings legislation

Good telephone manner and positive attitude

Knowledge of the local area helpful

Will be required to work some Saturdays (currently 10.00-14.00 once or twice a month- this will be paid as over time in addition to basic salary)
