Residential Property Legal Secretary

£32,000 - £35,000

London (W1) - hybrid working

Our client, a prominent law firm based in London, NW1 are looking for an outstanding property secretary to provide administrative support to the residential property department. You must be a proactive candidate to deliver consistently high levels of client service and support to two residential property solicitors.

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum A* - C grade GCSEs
  • Experience in a Legal Secretary role working inn residential property is essential.
  • Able to confidently liaise with clients, third parties and suppliers with utmost professionalism.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experienced at multi-tasking and taking responsibility for managing and effectively prioritising workload.

Duties:

  • Assisting the conveyancing solicitors in managing their caseloads; creating and organising client files using a legal case management system.
  • Opening files, preparing and sending out engagement letters and other correspondence, ordering property searches, drafting contracts, transfer deeds and SDLT forms, Land Registry applications, dealing with land registry requisitions, preparing invoices, recording payments, and providing general admin support.
  • Complying with risk management processes and policies.

Working Hours:

Weekdays from 9.30am to 5.30pm with an hour lunch break.
