Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 DOE

About the firms & role:

We are currently working with a well-established firm based in Bakewell, who are Legal Secretary to provide support to the Conveyancing and Wills & Probate teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience within the wills and probate sector or conveyancing or even if no experience at all as they will provide full training.

If successful, you will perform the following role as a Legal Secretary:

· Typing and audio transcription (letters, drafting deeds, documents, phone/attendance notes etc.)
· Taking and making phone calls on behalf of fee earner
· Photocopying/scanning as applicable
· Dealing with post received
· Filing and maintaining proper file order
· File reviews (assisting fee earner)
· Data entry (Excel spreadsheets) and into Case Management System (LEAP)
· Assisting fee earners on property inspections, potentially taking over these in due course
· Carrying out electronic verification of ID and AML searches
· Providing refreshments
· Schedule/rearrange appointments
· Using the HM Land Registry portal
