Tradewind is recruiting an experienced Learning Support Assistant for a secondary school in Knutsford

Position: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Knutsford

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Pay: £85 - £100 per day

Are you dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of students?

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a lovely secondary school in Knutsford. You will be involved in supporting KS3 and KS4 students in class, as well as working with small groups of lower ability and SEND students to enhance and improve their functional skills.

If you have experience in a similar role, strong curriculum knowledge, and possess the energy and engaging personality required to connect with secondary school students and help them reach their full potential, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Assist teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies
  • Foster a supportive learning environment
  • Support the emotional and social development of students

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar child-based role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles
  • Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
  • Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undergo one
