Learning Support Assistant

Tradewind are on the lookout for inspiring and motivating Learning Support Assistants to accelerate learning and get students enthused about being at school!

A secondary school in Ealing are hoping to ignite a passion for learning back into their Year 7 and Year 8 students who are currently struggling with their core subjects. They are looking to appoint ASAP with the view of 'temp to perm' contracts being issues in September for the successful applicants.

This prestigious setting, who are graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted, are set in impressive grounds with vast sports fields and multiple departments, each in their own building blocks, that extremely well equipped with the relevant technologies to push and promote each induvial who attends or works there!

The ideal person will have;
*A passion for Maths, English and Science
*Be confident working 121 with disengaged and shy learners
*Be prepared with appropriate strategies to manage frustrations that arise through learning

The role will involve;
*Set up and preparation for a clutter free and focused learning environment
*Working with KS3 student who are still learning at KS2 level
*Liaising with class teachers, and possibly parents, to ensure goals and targets are set for the individuals involved
*Assessing and giving feedback on individual's progress over the coming weeks in the run up to mock exams

To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role you will need to:

*Have had experience working with children in an education based setting
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
