Prospero Teaching are working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' Primary school in Kilburn, who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their two-form entry school. The position is long term in the first instance, with the potential to become a permanent appointment.
The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a child with Downs Syndrome in Year 4. The child requires additional support during lessons and sometimes at playtimes.
The school environment is vibrant and diverse. Children's work is celebrated through high quality displays and all are encouraged to develop understanding in a range of academic and foundation subjects.
As a new member of support staff, you will be welcomed and given access to a range of CPD opportunities. Your day will involve liaising regularly with the class teacher to ensure effective provision.
To be eligible for this role you must:
*Have a DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to process one
*Provide two professional child related references good - outstanding
*Have the right to work in the UK
*Have experience of working with children with special educational needs, particularly with Downs Syndrome
*Have Primary TA experience
