Location: Manchester
Salary:£14.50+ per hour

Contract: Temporary (for the rest of the academic year)

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and make a significant impact on the educational journey of students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment and supporting students to reach their full potential.

• Work within a network of partnerships to support and create learning opportunities for all students.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to provide targeted support to students with additional needs.
• Adapt learning materials to ensure accessibility for students with SEND.
• Encourage a positive and nurturing learning atmosphere.
• Promote student independence and self-confidence.
• Assist during class activities, exams, and assessments.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and interventions.

• A genuine passion for working with students with SEND.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 or equivalent) in education, special needs, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
• Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable.
