Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche International Business with its Head Office in Essen (Germany) to recruit a talented Learning and Employee Experience Manager on a permanent basis.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Employee Experience Lead to be pivotal in professionalising and innovating the employee experience journey from joining the company, through to continuous development of skills to enable growth / movement within the organisation and having a say when it comes to employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managerial and functional responsibility for three (3) employees based at various locations across the globe
  • Strategic and operational responsibility for the global (Europe, APAC and USA) learning and development portfolio by considering business needs and strategic market trends
  • Support and spearing for additional locally specific learning and development requirements with the local development partners to be implemented locally
  • Design and implement self-directed learning formats supporting a continuous learning culture that helps employees to learn, grow, and reach their full potential
  • Researching, designing and evaluating target group specific and innovative training approaches
  • Ensure a state of the art joiner, mover, leaver process
  • Professionalise, digitalise and streamline the onboarding, cross-boarding and offboarding process
  • Design and implement ways to measure and assess engagement (surveys, pulse checks etc)
  • Watch out for enriching collaboration tools fostering access to streamlined communication and internal networks
  • Establish smart Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for employee experience touchpoints to constantly monitor and optimize processes
  • Drive a digital mindset within the entire global HR team by data-intensive and intelligent technologies to ensure continuous improvement
  • Foster internal knowledge transfer, transparency and alignment on interface topics (e.g. close collaboration with all HR team members as sources for input on learning and development portfolio)

Key skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, human resources, international management or organisational psychology desirable
  • 5+ years of progressive learning / HR experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic team lead role in a fast paced, delivery focused commercial environment, ideally on an international level
  • Good understanding and passion for digitalisation and state of the art technical solutions
  • Ability to communicate with all levels including management and external parties, being able to build strong and sustainable relationships
  • Confident self-starter with excellent networking skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in development of learning strategies and concepts
  • Experience in end-to-end process management and streamlining
  • Proficiency in English (German is a plus) and international experience
  • Experience of working in a commercial environment
  • Profound user skills in Office 365

Advantageous, but not a must:

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning
  • SCRUM Master, change management experience, agile transformation experience
