Profectus Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a Global Technology organization who are recruiting for a Lead Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role sits alongside an established team with a range of expertise who adopt a hybrid working model with 2 days week based out of their office which is very local to Poole. 

The Poole office is one of many this organization has in the UK and this office has a real friendly close-knit feel about it. They are looking for a motivated and skilled Lead C++ Software Engineer to join their Scrum team where you will be focusing on C++ Software Development. Leading a small team you will be responsible for designing and implementing new C++ features to a variety of cloud, networking and storage software products. You will be a key part in all stages of the development lifecycle including code reviews and improvement of development processes. 

This position would suit someone who is primarily programming with C++ but also working with Python as the automation tests are run using Python. Additionally there will be occasions where you will work on the user interfaces of certain products which require JavaScript experience. 

Skills Required;

  • 5+ years C++ experience
  • Python
  • Multi-threaded development
  • JavaScript (advantageous, not essential)
  • Application Development
  • Windows, Linux
