The Company:

Lorien Global are partnering with a leading building society committed to delivering exceptional financial services to their members. We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join their Microsoft and Apps Team.

About the Role:

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the maintenance and enhancement of our Microsoft and Windows Server environments. Working closely with the architects and wider team you will collaborate to design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions that drive operational efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft and Windows Server solutions to meet business requirements
• Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess infrastructure needs and propose innovative solutions
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives

Skill Requirements:

• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft and Windows Server environments
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365 and DNS
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
