The role will involve the delivery of budget by generating leads through telephone based trading with an emphasis on quality. Assisting with the development of brokers with the explicit aim of generating, converting and retaining business within the organisation. Updating and maintaining reporting records for statistical analysis. Developing high quality relationships with brokers and across the organisation, actively promoting the company and associated products.
Providing effective, economical and compliant Underwriting Services adhering to TCF Core Competencies. The Underwriting of new business, by producing terms and converting business. This should at all times be geared to achieving the businesses annual target loss ratios. Developing and maintaining core relationships with trading underwriters. Identifying and exploiting cross selling opportunities. Ensuring service standards are achieved. Developing sales techniques to secure high conversion through successful lead to quote rates. To achieve personal and business objectives. Taking responsibility for complaints ensuring that the company procedures are adhered, to reflect company policy and ensure fair treatment of customers.
Will possess sales experience with a strong ability to forge good relationships and manage stakeholders. A successful track record of high lead to quote rates through strong sales techniques. The ability to promote company products through the appropriate social media platforms. Will undertake training in line with agreed objectives and keep up-to date with technical, legal and market developments via use of e-learning, internal training and reading market related material. Assisting in the development of effective communications with all other departments, promoting and adhering to TCF culture at all times.
