Tradewind is partnering with a reputable school that values excellence in education and seeks a dedicated Lead Cover Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the cover provision across the school. As the Lead Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting students' academic progress.

Responsibilities:

• Take a lead role within the cover team, ensuring effective deployment and coordination of cover supervisors and supply teachers.
• Provide cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement cover policies and procedures.
• Support and mentor cover supervisors, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality provision.
• Liaise with teaching staff, ensuring the smooth running of lessons and maintaining effective communication.
• Monitor student behaviour and engagement during cover lessons, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role within a school setting.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate cover provision effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff and students.
• Confidence in delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing schedules and cover requirements.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
