Consulting Lead / Lead Consultant / Pre Sales Consultant / Technical Sales Consultant / Head of Digital & Automation

  • £800 - £1000 p/d - Umbrella Engagement
  • 6 month initial contract
  • On site 1 or 2 days per week in either London or Manchester

Overview:

A highly skilled and experienced Consulting Lead in Automation and Digital Transformation. This role is crucial in driving both the consulting vision and technical strategy for our automation and digital transformation programmes. The Consulting Lead will manage a team of consultants and developers (on and offshore), ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.

From our call on this, they're looking for someone sales heavy, someone that can sell various Automation solutions in to the end client , who is the in the public sector. The sales pipeline is in place, so this is more about the conversion in to a sale.

There is also leadership involved which is mainly looking after the delivery teams who are onshore with a loose dotted line into the technical development teams who are offshore.

Core technical experience required is UiPath or BluePrism and building RPA / Automated solutions.

Responsibilites:

  • Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for automation and digitalisation projects and programmes.
  • Drive the sales delivery of the sales pipeline for automation and digitalisation projects and programmes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies in project and programme execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of delivery, ensuring technical accuracy, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Work collaboratively with partner organisations to ensure best quality and value for money delivery.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consultants.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence. Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and solutions.
  • Provide expertise and guidance during client meetings and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in automation and digital transformation

Core Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles, automation, digital transformation, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects and programmes
  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies, digital transformation frameworks, and software development methodologies
