We are looking for an experienced Lead Care Coordinator for a new office in the Barking area of London. This job may be commutable from the Dagenham, Ilford, Romford, Rainham and surrounding areas of London and Essex.

Salary £25k per annum inclusive of on call payment, plus bonus scheme, paid DBS check and access to a company vehicle.

Full-time hours, 9am-5:30pm.

Our client is a homecare provider with years of experience in this sector. They strive to provide the highest possible support at all times and have a recent CQC rating of "Good," which is terrific. As their Lead Care Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of Care Assistants, Field Care Supervisor and Administrative staff;
  • Schedule weekly and monthly rotas;
  • Delivering training;
  • Taking on care packages to increase the current number of hours;
  • Take part in the on-call rota on a rotational basis, 1 week in and 1 week off.

What skills and experience are required?

You will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Care Coordinator within a domiciliary care setting. You will need NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, as well as experience in rostering/scheduling, ideally using staff plan.

It is essential that you have a full clean driving licence and you must be willing to travel to the London and Essex area.
