Lead C# Full Stack Developer - Permanent - Milton Keynes

Our client within the higher education sector is looking to hire a Lead C# Full Stack Developer to join and lead a team of full-stack developers to develop a suite of web-based applications to support stakeholders in understanding behaviour and performance.

Working within the data division the primary focus is to support the team in delivering data-driven applications and inspire the developers to build solutions that will impact the greater business to create a robust, scalable and efficient environment.

The environment is tech agnostic using a mixture of C#/.NET, Java, Python, JavaScript & Azure. But C# is the primary programming language.

Ideally, if you have exposure to multiple programming languages that is a bonus.

Location: Milton Keynes, with ad-hoc monthly visits to office and remote working.

Salary: £59,421-£64,914 depending on experience.

Benefits include: 33 holidays, pension 6% employee/14% employer contribution.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop roadmaps of data-driven applications
• Foresee risks, issues and dependencies associated with deliveries
• Coach and mentor developers
• Leveraging Azure functions and APIM to develop REST Apis
• Drive and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery

Requirements:

• Knowledge and exposure to full stack development (desirable multi-language exposure)
• Knowledge and experience of Azure cloud services (Azure functions, APIM, Azure Data Factory)
• Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD using GIT
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and Behaviour driven development (BDD)
• Experience in leading a project and development team (coaching/mentoring, hiring)
