Lead Buyer Information Management

Position Available: Lead Buyer (Information Management)
Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid) & Dynamic Working Hours
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Paid Overtime & Company Bonus & Very Good Pension Package
Experience needed: Experience either as a Buyer or Lead Buyer within the domain of information management and software procurement.

About the role

We currently have a vacancy available as a Lead Buyer to join our team who lead all aspects of procurement within the domain of information management, software, transformation/innovation, and travel/communications.

We oversee all IT and software spending for the Group, covering Enterprise Software, SaaS, Engineering & Manufacturing Software, Networks, Telecoms, Hardware, Printing, Cyber Security, and outsourced Front and Back Office Services. It is a large team so you will have the opportunity to specialise in one area or develop into new ones to develop your skillset. If you have skills in any one of these areas or have skills in one area and are looking to develop into new areas of IM procurement, then we would be pleased to discuss how you might best fit within the team!

What we need from you:

• Someone who understands any aspect of I.T or software procurement or is comfortable with learning and developing these skills
• Ideally, experience of working in IT/IM procurement within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop
• Ideally someone who has or is willing to working towards MCIPS qualification
