Lab Technician - Materials & Testing

Our client based in Wrexham is currently looking to add a Materials & Testing Lab Technician to their team on a permanent basis.

Duties to include:

• Supporting lab risk assessments.
• Writing and management of lab procedures.
• Machine a variety of test coupons from panels in preparation for mechanical testing.
• Undertake related activities including specimen measurement, tab bonding & strain gauging.
• Ensuring all data is entered accurately within company systems and documentation
• Demonstrating high attention to detail and be willing to learn new skills.

What we are looking for in the candidate:

• Excellent written and verbal skills
• High attention to detail
• Self motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Have strong IT skills including experience with Google applications and LIMS.

• Salary up to £27,500 DOE
• Working hours of Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
