 Are you a skilled and dedicated educator looking for a flexible role that allows you to make a positive impact on students' learning?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Tutor to join our team on a flexible basis, for a local Newcastle Under Lyme based school as a Home Tutor.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide personalized academic support to a Key Stage 2 student for 2-3 days a week, starting immediately.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions to primary students in various subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, and more.

Assess students' individual learning needs and develop personalized tutoring plans to address their specific requirements.

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the national curriculum and learning objectives.

Utilize a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.

Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective assessment strategies.

Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student confidence and motivation.

Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on student progress and provide recommendations for continued improvement.

Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share best practices and resources.

Stay up-to-date with educational developments and continuously enhance your own professional knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Proven experience as a tutor or teacher, preferably within a primary school setting.

Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and relevant subject areas.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

Flexibility and availability to work on a flexible basis across various locations in Cheshire.

A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
