KS2 Teacher - Maidstone

Full-time - MPS/UPS - September 2024 start

Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for a Primary Teacher to teach a KS2 class, at a Primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. This role is on a full-time basis and will be a Maternity Cover contract, commencing at the beginning of term 5 and ending at the ned of the academic year. Experienced Teachers and ECTs alike are welcome to apply.

The school is a multi-form school on the outskirts of Maidstone, accessible via public transport and has on site parking. The school is also graded GOOD by Ofsted and highlighted the excellent work Leaders have done to not only raise standards but also provide top class support for pupils with SEN. It has also been highlighted that the students exhibit great behaviour and have great relationships with their teachers.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in KS2
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum KS2.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
