Location: Barnet - Finchley

Salary: M1 - M6 + TLR

Job type: Long-term, temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm

Start date: September 2024

End date: July 2025

Year group: KS2 (upper KS2 for class teacher position and choice between LKS2 and UKS2 for phase leadership)

Tradewind are looking to appoint a KS2 Phase Leader on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry Church of England primary school.

This London based primary school are looking to appoint a strong Teacher to join their KS2 team from September 2024 to the end of the academic year on a full-time basis.

About the role:

  • Lead a team of teachers
  • Monitor student achievement in the KS2 phase
  • Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
  • Work alongside the senior management team
  • Understand and implement the school improvement plan
  • Attend weekly staff meetings

  • 2 form entry Church of England school
  • Friendly and supportive environment
  • Rated 'Good' in the last Ofsted inspection (2021)
  • Strong support for pupils with SEN needs

Requirements:

  • Must have UK recognised QTS
  • Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the UK within the last 5 years
  • Must be available full-time and long-term from September
