KS1 Teaching Assistant

A Primary School within the Birmingham Area is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The School is looking for someone who can start the position in March 2018 on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

You will need to have the following experience in working with children that have SEN / MLD. These pupils require extra guidance within their learning abilities. You will be required to work within small groups and on a 1:1 basis with children that are underachieving in reaching their learning targets.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that each child is progressing within their learning development, to do this you will have to carry out assessments and record the data.

As the Teaching Assistant you will be required to help pupil with resources within the classroom. It is essential that you have had phonics' training, it would be advantage if you speak other languages which will help the pupils engage more within their learning.
