Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a Year 2 Primary Teacher on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 3-form entry Mainstream school primary school located in the borough of Barnet.

This London based primary school are looking to appoint a strong Primary Teacher to join their KS1 team from April 2024 on a part-time basis, three days per week. The days will be confirmed as part of the interview process. The school has a strong support network and is happy to support ECT Primary Teachers. This role also has the potential to become permanent.

About the role:

  • Prepare and deliver KS1 lessons
  • Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
  • Work alongside the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are effective
  • Differentiate learning materials to ensure each pupil benefits
  • Attend weekly staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Must have UK recognised QTS
  • Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
  • Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
  • Have a willingness to enhance the schools ethos
  • Able to work effectively with colleagues, children and external agencies
  • Must be available full-time and long-term from September
