Are you a skilled Senior KDB+/Python Developer looking to take your career to the next level? I am currently working with a leading Software/Technology Company based in the Midlands, in their quest to expand interoperability between q/KDB+ and Python. They are searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to enhance their dynamic software development team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior KDB+/Python Developer, you will:

• Design, implement, and optimise integrations between Python and KDB+/q.
• Collaborate with team members and external clients to develop optimised and user-friendly solutions to complex problems.
• Stay updated with the latest developments within the Python community.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with client usage of our integrations.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and standards are maintained.

Qualifications & Skills:

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A strong understanding and passion for KDB+/q development.
• Strong knowledge of fundamental software development principles.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience with KDB+/q, focusing mainly on q as a data science language.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in developing Python applications and libraries.
• Previous experience in developing C/C++ code is a valuable plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
