Our client is looking for a Junior Sustainability Consultant to join a leading Sustainability and Energy consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in the UK and internationally. The role is varied working on ESG and sustainability accreditation strategies, planning applications and live construction projects.
Junior Sustainability Consultant Requirements:
- BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar
- Understanding of BREEAM
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- Full UK driving license
- Proficient with Excel E.g.formulas
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Understanding of the principles of Net Zero Carbon, Part L & Dynamic Simulation Modelling (Desirable)
Junior Sustainability Consultant Duties:
- Complete evidence reviews and prepare programmes/trackers for BREEAM, HQM, WELL and FitWel Assessments
- Complete BREEAM and HQM Site Inspection Reports based on construction site visits
- Undertake Local Planning Authority policy searches to determine the works required when submitting planning applications
- Prepare sustainability assessments, planning reports, and presentations
- Complete data reviews for energy, water, and waste performance monitoring for real estate asset management funds to support their GRESB Real Estate benchmark submissions
