Junior Software Engineer

Posted 25 January by Post My Job Ltd Easy Apply Ended

We are always on the lookout for bright minds to join us and we are currently looking for junior software engineers. As Northampton’s leading software house, based in rural Irthlingborough, we have a passion for helping our clients grow and flourish. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and relaxed software house, who believe that our staff are our most valuable asset.

Formed in 2011 we have been creating excellent web, mobile, and desktop apps for our clients and thanks to their continued support have grown every year.

The Role
You will be working as a junior software engineer and day-to-day you’ll be creating bespoke software applications using C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. The role is not suitable for experts, but we do need candidates to be comfortable coding in .NET (Webforms and MVC) and able to hit the ground running. You’ll probably have a year or two of .NET software development under your belt and be confident that you can help develop our client’s web applications further.

We provide excellent on the job training in a friendly, flexible working environment - think Google but on a smaller scale!

The Person
You’re a friendly, open person, with a good mix of personal skills, and decent technical skills. You’ll be working with people that are geeks at heart and have a love of gadgets, video games, films and other similarly geeky things. You don’t need to be a geek to work with us, but it wouldn’t hurt either! You’re keen to learn and develop your coding skills further.

The Details
Salary will be between £20k and £25k per annum based on experience and technical skills. You will receive 28 days holiday per year (including Bank and public holidays) and once you have completed your probation period you will qualify for excellent private health insurance.
