A Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to step up into a senior role as a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse on a Haematology/Oncology Unit in the Leading Private Cancer Centre in Manchester.

This is a full time position

Competitive Salary ranging from £40,000 - £45,000 +12% shift enhancement+ excellent Benefits.

As a Senior Nurse working on the haematology inpatient unit, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care,you will play an important role in ensuring your patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. This will include meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.

You will be supported to develop your knowledge and skills in haematology-oncology specialist nursing and leadership.

Skills & Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting or equivalent.
  • Intravenous chemotherapy administration experience
  • Ward leadership experience
  • Motivated and forward thinking individual.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Evidence of understanding service development and improvement.
