They use no off the shelf software to run their setup, every piece of software used by this company is built by their extensive in-house development team this includes the main eCommerce platform and all of the systems used by their internal team to run a multitude of functions; HR, Logistics, finance etc. The Junior PHP Developer will gain familiarity with all of these platforms and work across the technology stack including the different microservices built using PHP, Symfony and deployed in the Cloud.
From the Junior PHP Developer, we are looking for someone with some commercial experience and a solid grounding in OO principals. We would expect the Junior PHP Developer to have an understanding of MVC frameworks and have a willingness to work with Symfony, however no prior experience is necessary. The most important thing from this Junior PHP Developer will be to have a passion for learning new technologies and an enthusiasm to constantly be improving code quality.
