Junior Landscape Architect

We are currently representing a Consultancy that is actively looking for a Junior Landscape Architect to join their growing team in the Northampton Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Landscape Architect to build and develop their career within a talented team. This consultancy offer a range of design, planning, environmental and ecology services within the commercial, residential, heritage and environmental sector.

The role of Junior Landscape Architect will suite an ambition and forward-thinking individual looking to expand their experience and progress within the Landscape Architecture industry. You will be rewarded with a supportive and social working atmosphere, training and mentorship for pathway to Chartership.

Junior Landscape Architect Position Remuneration

• Salary; £23,000 - £28,000 + (DOE)
• Holiday; 20 Days + Bank Holidays
• Pension
• Flexible Working / Hybrid Working
• 4 and a half day working week (half a day off gifted by the company every week)

Junior Landscape Architect Position Overview

• Involved in all aspects of projects from beginning to completion
• Working on a wide range of projects within Commercial, residential, heritage and environmental
• Communicating and working efficiently within the design team
• Producing concept design sketches utilising CAD Software
• Involved in landscape appraisals and LIVA's
• Working to set deadlines

Junior Landscape Architect Position Requirements

• A postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
• 2+ years' experience of written LVIA work with evidence of great general report writing skills
• Good technical skills and previous experience producing environmental statements, landscape management plans and landscape chapters
• Knowledge of planting to create and spec detailed landscape designs
• Excellent IT skills, with a thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup
• Eligible to work legally in the UK
