Applause IT are looking for a Junior Azure DevOps Engineer to join an international insurance broker based in Bromsgrove. The role will involve working closely with the organisations DevOps team in the US as well as the App Engineering and System Architect teams in the UK.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will be managing end-to-end processes as well as ensuring that software deployments run smoothly and efficiently. You will also need to utilise Azure DevOps in order to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. In addition, you will also be working closely with cross functional teams that will optimise system performance, security, and scalability.

The ideal Junior DevOps Engineer must have:

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, this will include pipelines, boards, and repositories.
• Proven knowledge of designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with writing automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Cloud experience with Azure.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and TFVC.
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
