Junior Database developer- Sutton In Ashfield- Up to £35K

Akkodis are proud to be working exclusively with a market leading business on their search for a Database Developer to join them in a newly created position, at a very busy and exciting time.

My client are a successful business and are in a great position as income (and growth of the firm) is continually rising year on year. Growth has both been organic through good placing & hard work within their market and they are proud to be a key supplier to some of the UK's largest Blue Chip and Independent retailers!

The company are currently undergoing a huge transformation project and are rebuilding their ERP system from scratch, so it is an opportune time to join and be part of their success. You will be given thorough training and development and have a real voice in the direction of their development along with the whole development team.

We are ideally looking for a 1st/2:1 Computer Science Junior/Graduate Developer with a specialism in working with complex database development tools including a solid understanding of relational databases and data structure. You may have studied Computer Science although we'll also consider grads with similar degrees, or any degree which has had a significant programming element. You will also work with wider tech including REST APIs, JSON and Filemaker so any experience with these would be advantageous.

We'd expect you to have been a top performer (2:1 or above) or you may have a year or two's work experience in a software development role.

The role is based in Sutton-In-Ashfield and the working hours will be Monday-Thursday 8am-4.15pm and Friday 8am-3pm. You will be required to visit other sites when required so you will need a full driving licence.
