The Job:

We are delighted to be assisting them with their search for a Junior Conveyancing Fee Earner based in their Bromsgrove office.

As a Junior Conveyancing Fee Earner for our client you will responsible for direct support to members of the Residential Conveyancing Department and working principally under the direct instruction and supervision of the Head of Property Services. To undertake administrative duties to assist with the accurate conduct to completion of general conveyancing transactions, to provide quotations to clients and prospective clients both verbally and in writing, and to assist with timely communications to clients, agents and other parties

Responsibilities will include:

  • Under direction to assist with a varied caseload from instruction through to completion to include sale and purchase of residential properties both leasehold and freehold, reporting progress to your supervising Solicitor.
  • To prepare correspondence, enclosures and documents and undertaking daily filing, opening closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
  • To liaise and build relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions including local estate agents.
  • To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain the diary for yourself and your principal.
  • To make effective use of the Conveyancing case management systems.
  • To attend clients both in person and on the telephone in a professional manner ensuring that quality of service levels are to the highest standards.
  • Remain informed of changes in any area of specialisation, such that service quality is always maintained.

The Person:

For this role our client is ideally seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

  • They are flexible regarding the experience and happy to consider either a Paralegal (either qualified or unqualified), CIlex (studying or newly qualified members) or newly qualified solicitors up to 3 Years PQE.
  • The successful applicant must have a good working knowledge of residential conveyancing matters and be able to deal with a varied caseload.
  • Be a strong team player with good communication and organisational skills.

21- 23 days plus bank holidays, parking, company pension

The Location:

Bromsgrove, 100% office based. (with car parking)

The Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15pm
