As the Junior Category Manager:

• The design and development of your departments offer across the retailers x4 key brands.
• You will drive profitability for the brand through the management of sales, trading actions, range newness & efficiency and staying on top of the competition
• Collaborate with cross functional departments business wide, including wholesale, retail, concessions and trading teams
• You will build a strong relationship with your designers and product sourcing team with setting a clear product brief
• Manage price negotiations with suppliers in the Far East directly and/or via their China office
• Established background in effective sourcing to develop range quality, best price, at the right time, in the right place.
• You will build a sound relationship with the supply base to protect the groups ethical sourcing code of conduct.
• Products are developed and produced meeting the required compliance standards across all sales markets. Close work with the Head of Technical and Compliance for Regatta and kept up to date with all legislation
• Knowledge of the outdoor, workwear and sportswear camping and equipment brands and market
• Understanding of overseas sourcing
