KC Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Administrator to join a busy and supportive Student Services team based in London. About the Role As a Junior Administrator, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of Student Services. You’ll provide front-line support to students and staff, manage administrative processes, and help coordinate a range of academic and student-focused activities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for student and staff queries.
Organise and support departmental meetings – including scheduling, agendas, and minutes.
Maintain accurate student and course records using internal systems.
Assist with the organisation of events such as open days, workshops, and conferences.
Support the creation and distribution of reports, timetables, and student communications.
Monitor shared email inboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner.
Order office supplies and ensure administrative needs are met.
Work collaboratively across administrative teams to support institutional goals.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
What We’re Looking For
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Clear, professional communication skills – both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); quick to learn new systems.
A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
An understanding of the higher education sector is a plus.
