You will join a Legal 500 recognised boutique practice best known for taking on high-value commercial litigation and arbitration on behalf of overseas clients.

The team often act on complex matters that require novel and creative ways of thinking. In recent years that has included a couple of cases that have reached the Supreme Court.

The role

The team are looking to bolster support in the team with the hire of a 2 - 4 PQE UK qualified solicitor.

The incoming associate can expect to advise clients on a range of matters including

  • Commercial litigation, often large-scale and multijurisdictional disputes
  • High-value arbitration under all major international rules
  • Public International Law and Sanctions
  • Marine and Commodities disputes

Requirements

  • England and Wales qualified lawyer with recent experience practising within the UK.
  • 2 to 4 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in commercial litigation, likely gained within a city or leading regional law firm.
  • International Arbitration experience is desirable.
  • An additional foreign language such as Russian, Arabic or Spanish is desirable.
  • Proactive and team player mentality

In return

Salary for this role will be dependent upon PQE and experience level but will likely range from £70,000 - £80,000.
