My client are currently seeking a junior Supply Chain Project Manager within the life sciences industry. This position is a contract role for an initial 12 months.
You would be working with a fantastic global pharmaceutical company based in Maidenhead. One of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the world, my client are a household name - producing innovative drugs, biotechnology, medical devices and popular medicinal consumer products.
We are looking for a junior Supply Chain Project Manager who will be responsible for leading projects which are being rolled out into the EMEA region. This can include new product developments and new product introductions.
As a Supply Chain Project Manager you will deliver the project scope and be accountable for managing risk, timelines and ensuring project processes and standards are followed.
Your main duties would include:
- Project definition
- Project Planning
- Assuring operational readiness
- Leading cross-functional teams through each phase of the project
- Coordinating all activities to ensure the project remains on track
- Monitoring and managing risks and opportunities
- Estimating, reporting and delivering agreed financials
- Listening, agreeing, involving and communicating all aspects of the project with senior management.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience in the Supply Chain field. A project management professional, you will have experience with leadership and conflict resolution, broad business acumen and experience with new product development processes and technology.
The successful applicant must be business fluent in English, spoken and written.
