Location : Glasgow

Position: IT Technician - Manufacturing

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Job Type: This is a fixed term contact (12 months)

We are looking for a IT Technician to join our Glasgow based manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support with expertise in Active Directory, Azure, Remote Desktop Services, VMWare, VLANs, and SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the IT requirements on site
  • Support the installation, support, and security of the network and IT system hardware infrastructure
  • Provide internal management of the company's Active Directory and email systems
  • Identify the needs of users, provide expertise, and ensure follow up
  • Provide technical support and user assistance
  • Participate in the maintenance of internal business tools in collaboration with end users
  • Communicate and update staff on all IT issues
  • Set up new starters with laptops and access to IT systems

You must have:

  • Proven experience working in IT support roles
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
