IT Systems Engineer

Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead who are currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

Working within the IT Infrastructure team, you will help support a range of modern technologies, plus other bespoke, industry-specific solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Server and storage administration
• Providing 3rd line support to the team
• Microsoft 365 tenant configuration and management
• Authentication and application management
• Managing the Cloud presence
• Testing and delivering User Experience improvements

Key Skills Required

• Experience of supporting Windows operating systems (server, desktop, dual-boot)
• OS and Application patching / WSUS
• Physical system commissioning skills - server, desktop, and peripherals
• Experience of supporting Linux workstations
• Systems Monitoring - Grafana / Zabbix
• Experience supporting M365/O365 suite.
• Active Directory and/or Azure infrastructure management experience
• Understand network support essentials - DHCP, DNS, routing etc
• Messaging - Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments
• Backup experience
