IT Systems Engineer DevOps - global business - Berkshire

A well-established industry leader that operates globally is looking to add a talented IT Systems Engineer ( DevOps ) to their team in the Wokingham area, Berkshire (commutable from parts of Middlesex, West London, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire).

The successful candidate will be part of the Global IT Infrastructure team responsible for designing and deploying solutions, both on-site and in the cloud. This role will involve helping to create a stable and reliable environment to support the rapid development process. Duties will include automating the build environment, monitoring and troubleshooting the infrastructure, identifying new technologies and policies as well as working to best IT practice.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience working in an IT Systems Engineer, Windows / Linux Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer or similar role. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge covering Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware / Hyper-V, Azure and PowerShell. The ideal candidate will also have some exposure to Linux Systems administration.

This is a key role within a large and evolving technology business that would suit a Systems Engineer who is passionate about automating development and production environment.

This IT Systems Engineer (DevOps) role is paying up to £40,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
