IT Support Technician

We are seeking an IT Support Technician who is ready to grow with the business and potentially build a team in the future. This isn’t your standard IT support role; it's with a manufacturing company that requires a dynamic individual to assist with a range of technical tasks.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide deskside support and assist users with hardware and software issues.
  • Build and configure PCs to meet company requirements.
  • Understand networking fundamentals, including cabling, routers, and switches.
  • Work on upcoming projects involving industrial controllers, such as driving turbines.
  • Adapt quickly to ever-changing environments and troubleshoot effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and show initiative.
  • A degree in Computer Science/Networking is ideal for those looking for their first role.
  • Experience in a varied support role within IT, demonstrating the ability to adapt quickly.
  • General understanding of networking and industrial control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
