£30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Company Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an established and leading Telecommunications Provider, that are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their busy service desk team.

As the IT Support Engineer / IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will be responsible for providing premium service and support to all internal and external customers using available tools and in cooperation with the department and partners.

As the IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician you will be tasked with helpdesk incident and problem management, providing service request fulfilment, software and hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor service desk for IT issues by reviewing incoming tickets and reviewing progress.
  • IT Support Engineer tasked with supporting roll out of new applications.
  • Support other members of the IT team.
  • You will be tasked to prioritise and manage many open cases at any one time.
  • Participate in managing the end-user environment, computer with software, printers, access to services and servers.
  • Help maintain security awareness in the organisation.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of working within a network/IT field.
  • Good understanding of general printing, backup, antivirus, and security principles.
  • Confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Managing service desk requests through help desk systems.
  • ITIL processes.
  • Client computing, Windows/Linux/Mac.
  • Experience in MS365, Azure and Networking is a nice to have.

** Due to the nature of the position, you must hold a full drivers license and have access to a vehicle. The role is 100% office based in East Sussex with some work outside of hours required for supporting Global projects.
