IT SUPPORT ENGINEER
25/01/21 to 28/02/21 with a possible extension
£13.00 per hour LTD/Umbrella

Your new role
Level 2, 2nd Line Support, Desktop and application remote support for large city council IT estate. Calls assigned via Remedy. Engineer expected to troubleshoot software & hardware issues remotely. Engineer required to help a backlog of tickets. Looking for strong end user client facing skills. Mon-Fri 0900-1700hrs Full day. Out of hours when required. Engineer will be based in our city centre office.
What you'll need to succeed With highly developed interpersonal skills, you'll have the ability to engage with customers and ensure that you provide a consistently positive customer experience. In addition, you'll have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and will be an enthusiastic and supportive colleague in an often-pressurised environment. With GCSE Maths and English (at grade C or above) you'll be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of IT systems and servers.
