IT Support Desk Officer

Salary from £25,413 to £27,693 pa depending on skills and experience
Permanent - Full time - 37 hours per week

You will be providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for all customers assisting them with hardware, software and telecom issues either onsite or using remote assistance along with:
Monitoring service desk calls for support and maintenance issues
Liaise with 3rd party solution providers in the logging, monitoring and resolution of maintenance and support issues.
Making decisions independently to implement fixes and solutions to resolve these issues at initial point of user contact.

This post is to cover IT support over two sites at the Civic Centre in Ashford and at our Border Control Facility in Sevington.

You must be prepared to work a rota basis at any ABC site when required to do so, providing direct support to the user base and systems located at those sites.

To be proficient in this role it is essential that you have worked in a desktop support type role and have working knowledge of the latest release of Microsoft Windows & Microsoft 365 products to recent release level
