As part of the IT team, you will deliver on business objectives & mandates.  Providing excellent service while supporting internal customers and proactively monitor and administer business systems and application solutions. 

Key responsibilities:

Duties include but not limited to

  • Respond to either first line support or end user software or hardware queries via email, phone, or face to face.
  • Work with the UK IT Manager and wider support team to ensure any recurring technical issues are addressed and any training or documentation requirements are identified and implemented.
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
  • Liaise closely with business and 3rd party solution providers.
  • Support bespoke applications specific to manufacturing
  • Assist with Implementing, configuring, and testing feasible solutions.
  • Other duties as required

Experience with the following is advantageous but not essential:

  • Helpdesk software - ITIL principles, Asset Management and Troubleshooting Microsoft Office issues

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
