Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

Location: Remote position

Position summary:

  • Initial contact point for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email 
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques 
  • Determine solutions based on customer-provided details 
  • Represent support on the spot professionally while working offsite 

Salary:
£15,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • First contact for technical assistance via phone/email 
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and guide users through problem-solving 
  • Follow up on tickets, ensuring resolution within SLA 
  • Own and update user problems, communicating progress promptly 
  • Escalate unresolved issues when necessary 
  • Record events and resolutions in logs 
  • Manage onsite installations, repairs, maintenance, and tests 

What we are looking for: 
Desired knowledge and skills:

  • Proven help desk or IT customer support experience 
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of office automation, databases, and remote control 
  • Understanding of computer systems and tech products 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues 
  • Proficient in English, speaking and writing 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Cool-tempered and capable of conveying technical information to end-users

Being a driver would be beneficial to the position. [details will be confirmed upon interview] 

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
