Interim Service Desk Analyst - Charity

Location: Central London
Length: 3 months
IR35 Status: Outside

A London based homelessness charity is recruiting for an interim Service Desk Analyst to assist their busy and fast paced service desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide 1st and 2nd line IT assistance to all staff, including desktop, telecommunication, printing and network support
  • To respond to and record all incidents, queries and problems raised to the Service Desk as required
  • To troubleshoot issues and seek to resolve tickets, progressing them where necessary
  • To operate the Service Desk support line between 9am - 5pm (in accordance to a daily rota)
  • Accurately categorise and prioritise tickets logged to the Service Desk
  • Maintain users, computers and objects in Active Directory
  • To ensure that new employees and leavers are processed in accordance to HR procedures
  • Install hardware and software and provide support during any upgrade works
  • Source and order new hardware and software from third party suppliers
  • Accurately maintain the Configuration Maintenance Database (CMDB)
  • Attend other offices where necessary to provide support where it isn't possible to remotely
  • Adhere to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) set by St Mungo's IT
  • Produce knowledge base articles and clear procedure guides for end users
  • Carry out health-checks in accordance to the daily task sheet
  • Deputise for the IT Service Desk Manager when required
